Porsche doesn't have to showcase anything. Their designs have been refined over and over again to superb handling machines. People will still buy Porsches even if they pull out of a Tokyo Motor Show. Not surprised with the recession and not a big deal for Porsche.

What are you smokin' lately Agent63? Start reading some of the Automotive business news to see Porsche is in deep crap right now with the likely hood that is will taken over by VW/Audi and merged into VAG as one of the brands. Porsche has failed to complete the merger with VAG and is so debt-laden that it needs VW's help. Actually, it needs Audi's help as Audi has the cash to bail them out. Porsche CEO will be out along and Winterkorn likely to assume control. It's all in the news. So, Porsche cannot afford to attend shows in markets where sales are small to begin with.

I just heard that Tokyo is pulling out of the Tokyo Motor Show. Too bad, I was really looking forward to it. Maybe next year...
