Plausible Deniability is when the upper management tells their generals/lieutenants that they need to do what ever it take so make them the most powerful company in its segment. The guys in charge dont what to know whats going on that way they can just deny anything that is bad PR. This is done in government (Presidents do it all the time)and business. Their is no doubt in my mind that Toyota did this. This is an opportunity for them.
