Audi TT-RS priced at €55,800 in Germany
It was made public by Audi today that the price of the Audi TT RS for both performance cars, the coupe and roadster will begin at 55,800 Euros and 58,650 Euros, correspondingly. Power under the hood for the Audi TT RS is a 2,480 cc engine that produces 340hp and 450Nm of top torque. The fuel economy of the Audi TT RS’s 5-cylinder powerplant is 9.2 liters/100km for the coupe model, and 9.5 liters/100km if it powers the Roadster variant.

The Audi TT RS, with the aid of a turbocharger relative boost pressure reaching 1.2bar, can spring from standstill to 100km/h in just 4.6 seconds and reach a top speed of 280km/h. The new model is expected to see deliveries this summer. Included in the baseAudi TT RS price is the Quattro permanent AWD system, 18 inch alloys, xenon plus headlights with LED daytime running lights and for the Roadster, it includes the electrohydraulic top with power windshield.

Please don't convert this into US dollars and then claim its over priced. PLEASE! lol. But it is overpriced even without doing that, as this seems pretty close to how much an M3 costs there if I'm not mistaken.

I have ordered mine and it's due for delivery in July. I cannot wait. It's so powerful that Audi have detuned it as it was quicker than the R8 in a straight line. Once it has been re mapped it will hit 62mph in 3.6 seconds ...... now that is what I call fast ...... and all for £45K. I am a very happy Audi driver :-)

If that's true, and the engine and the suspension can handle that much power, we will have a new instant classic in the TT-RS.
