2010 Ford Rendering Speculation: Should Ford Import Capri In Place Of RS Model?
Just as Volkswagen has done with the stunning Scirocco, Ford is seeking to reinvent one of its most famous sports cars. And it’s this dramatic evolution of the next Focus that will do it.

Boasting a stylish but practical body, it will target the Scirocco and the Renault Mégane Coupé, providing a glamorous sister car to the standard five-door hatch – revealed in Issue 1,057. Appealing to young, style-conscious buyers, the new Coupé should be a big hit.

As you can see from our exclusive pictures, it takes some inspiration from the Iosis Max concept, revealed at March’s Geneva Motor Show.

That car debuted the new family ‘face’ of not only the new Focus, but the next-generation C-MAX, too. However, the three-door model evolves this with sleeker, sportier LED headlights and a deeper, more aggressive set of lower air intakes.

The key design cues, though, are the rakish windscreen, low roofline and high waistline, which meet to give a heavily chopped appearance at the back. It’s reminiscent of the Scirocco, but is arguably more daring and head-turning. A neat diffuser-style lower bumper, roof spoiler and gorgeous LED tail-lights complete the rear. Add in short overhangs and large alloy wheels, and the model looks every inch the

This car would be a motorcyclists worst nightmare. Massive front windshield for the sun to blind you and small windows on the side and back.

Wow, never thought of that. Small windows meaning as not to see cyclist I would assume. I'm loving the Harley V-Rod. When I grow up, it will be my first choice in a cycle.

Put a helmet on, get a leather jacket, and don't drive the lines during traffic and you won't get hit.

I love how its the law I have to wear a seatbelt but bikers can cruise without even a helmet. Oh well. I'll probably get like 15 negatives for those two lines.

Moving on, Ford is going to give us a Smart sized pocket car instead of the Focus RS. Wow! um...thanks...I think...? I'll pass, Instead of appeasing Obama with their hybrids and small cars, why not give us something that makes actual power at a good price. Once again, Civic Si, Cobalt SS, WRX, GTI, etc. will just have to keep running the market. The new Focus is a POS in the states, I make it a point to laugh at each one I see. Same as I make it a point to give mean looks to people in Pri-i cause they all drive with the I'm better than you and you need to slow down like me meantality.

Granted I drive a Matrix XR AWD, but at least I'm not a tree hugger about it. I'd take a new Liberty with skyslider in a second.

I have a Matrix XRS and boy can't wait to give it to my son. Whelan, can you feel the extra weight of AWD? I'm done with Toyotas.

Well here in CT it's still not the law, you should see how many bikers fly around by the beach at my house no helmets. Guy on the parkway yesterday blew by me at 90 (I was goin 70), no helmet, no jacket. Shorts and a T.

I'm not against bikers at all, I just never could own one for my own safety. A pair of sunglasses apparently passes for protection around here.

California has helmet laws, and boy it was fought hand to hand until the law was instituted. At least we don't have brain slushes all over the freeways because despite how well drivers and cyclist are careful, I see spills and they can be nasty. 300-400 lbs vs. 2-3 tons =roadkill
