Bmw X1 interior revealed… partially
In a recent test-drive with the upcoming Bmw X1, the Germans from Auto News, showed us a small part of the center console. We don’t know if this is a teaser, but we do know that the new X1 will continue the tradition of Bmw vehicles and carry only high quality materials.

Why can't they make all the same color..
That black among the other color of the dash is not pretty....

lol It's probably just the material used that you don't like.

Don't you like dual-tone interiors?

and how does the 3 to 4 colors on the Lexus Rx350 not do the same?

The interior of the new lexus is broken up by an aluminum trim piece around the radio controls. Then it has a wood steering wheel. Black dash and beige lower section of the dash.

What a cheap looking interior.

There's nothing cheap about the stitched leather interior.

I mean does it look like they use seaweed?

No, it looks like they used cheap plastic again.

Nothing out of the ordinary here, good and clean look to me... Wish I could have seen the outside. BMW sure does make some great vehicles.

It looks like the panels don't fit together very well. Maybe it's just a rough test-vehicle.

Honesty it looks like some more modern day Ford parts. Good quality for Ford but for BMW not so sure.

actually, 3 interior uses some of the same bits, but the ac controls have their own display so its a bit more fancy. same theme though...

Looks like a typical update of current interiors. I like how it looks. Remember people this is the X1, not a 7 series, so don't expect a stitched leather interior with the highest quality materials out there!

oh the irony... a lexus by definition is an over-priced toyota. regardless of how cheap you think bmws may be, they are at least a unique car and not simply a cheaper car with a facelife trying to pass off as something more.

excuse the typo... that should be "facelift"

congrats on your bmw. i own 4 - none of which have cheap interiors in my opinion; especially when compared to the camry my friend at work drives. the logic of my statement doesn't fail at all. the fact remains that a lexus IS a toyota. a toyota is a cheaper car. that makes a lexus an overpriced cheaper car with a slight facelift.
