Obama Being Credited For Helping Rescue Opel?

Angela Merkel, ugghhh! Bill o'Reilly and Rush Limbaugh would hit it, with Susan Boyle as a chaser. LOL

You were already opening your wallet, it was just going to the privileged few before. Obama has admittedly made a few mistakes in his 1st 100 days, but his predecessor was responsible for one of the greatest transfers of wealth in US history, you are going to pay either way.......

Add up all his social programs and you tell me what your tax load will be in five years.

My taxes are definitely going to go up, no doubt about it. I knew that before I voted for Obama. I also know the real reasons why my taxes are going up unlike many of the uneducated critics here. We will all see tax increases primarily due to:

--Our total federal debt doubled during the Bush Administration
--The Iraq war will end up costing over 3 trillion dollars, all borrowed money and debt kept completely off the books until now
--Social security and medicare deficits being in the trillions within 20 years
--Medicare will fold in about the same time frame
--The US infrastructure is crumbling roads, bridges, etc will all need repair sooner than later, this will cost hundreds of billions of dollars

I won't even go into the damage an unregulated wall street and artificially low 1% interest rates have done to the future of this country. I will be taxed more, but I will continue to save more and take the tax breaks available to me. Other than universal health care, which because of the reasons I mentioned above is still a pipe dream, Obama's social programs are a drop in the bucket compared to the damage done over the last decade. Notice I said decade because Bill Clinton has alot to do with mess we are in.

I am a registered independent, so I KNOW both parties have played are part in the current state of our union. I also know both parties are full of shit.........

Wow, a ton of typos in my last post, but I believe the facts are solid. If Obama came into office and didn't spend an additional dime:

GM and Chrysler would still be filing for bankruptcy and it would have happened months ago, not tomorrow.

The banks would still be folding at an astonishing rate.

We would still have the largest debt this country has ever known.

Social Security and Medicare would still be bankrupting the country

Healthcare for every citizen would still be a pipe dream in the richest country in the world.

America did not rise to be the greatest country on earth by bowing or being a socialist country. Keep the idiots in DC out of peoples lives and keep taxes low money will flow to the Gov by the billions. This will all correct itself if small buisness is allowed to florish less taxes and stupid stifeling regs my god who would want to start a new buisness these days.
