Yeah, they should be fixed alright; just like my cat.
Really, the fix would have happened sooner, if government (first Bush preserving his legacy "not on my watch", now Obama enacting socialism everywhere the eye can see) had not interfered and propped up private enterprise. The free market already does this sort of 'fixing'; a bankruptcy last year would have meant we would be starting to get this behind us at this point. Yes, the business culture at GM needs significant change, but without bankruptcy, it could not have changed enough to make a difference; contracts needed to be voided; the game of brinkmanship between management and labor needed to end. Bankruptcy has a way of sharpening everyone's focus.

Here is the REAL reason that the Obama Adminstration forced GM into bankruptcy...So that the major banks could get their greedy little hands on the 6+billion in the GM pension fund..

The problem with this is ...IT's BEEN ILLEGAL SINCE 1974 !
