BMW X1 engine lineup confirmed

While we’ve already seen an image of the upcoming BMW X1 wearing no camouflage at a photo shoot (granted the image was a little choppy and low-res), BMW has dropped four “spy shots” of the upcoming compact SUV.

So far we expect a 2009 Frankfurt Motor show debut later this year.

the x series is getting a little old now I would have made a X5 and maybe an X7 but the X1 and X3 come on you have to be 4ft to be comfortable in these...........WHERE IN THE HELL IS THE 8 SERIES SCREW ALL THESE X1'S AND X3'S THATS NOT WHAT THE PUBLIC WANTS

If they can get the pricing right, it may be a compelling choice. I don't need a big car, so this could be for me. But I will not pay big money for a Mini on stilts. So let's see what they have in store.
