Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG rendered before its official debut! Is this the most relevant rendering yet?

There is a new Mercedes-Benz supercar coming out soon and it is called the SLS AMG. Featured in the car is a classic form that tried to resurrect the Mercedes 300 SL Gullwing with gullwing doors, brief rear section and a long hood that houses a potent powerplant. After lots of tests, the SLS AMG is ready to be introduced this September at the IAA Franfurt Motor Show. A roadster version will come out by 2011.

sign me up I still love the roadster from the 50's but I dont have $500,000 - $1,000,000 which is what they are going for in the auction but I wouldnt mind owning this beauty I had my eye on this car for about 3 years when it hit the concept stage. nice job Daimler

Cute. Though the headlights seem to look like an old Honda component.

Does anyone know what kind of engine options will be available? I don't see the SLS Gullwing being a super-cruiser like the SLR McLaren, but would like to seen a moderately powerful powerplant being offered.

mercedes didnt think before doing that one its doesnt look quite good id prefer the mclaren if i had to chose...
