2010 VW Scirocco R at the Ring (Video)

Powering the new Scirocco R is a four cylinder 2.0 I TSI engine that is good for a total of 265 horsepower with power being driven to the front wheels of the VW. Drivers have the option of choosing between a traditional six speed or a DSG transmission with a note to sixty ringing in 6.5 seconds for the manual. Of course with the DSG the run will be a few tenths of second shorter.

Really? 265 hp and on 0-60 in 6.5? I would love to see this thing against the half priced Cobalt SS.
