First real look at the next BMW 3-series coupe?

but this picture is definitely a photoshop. As a regular on several BMW forums, this one can be attributed to a die-hard Bimmer fan with plenty of time on his hands. In fact, I believe he rendered a number of similar versions, including one to be a CSL and one with the M6 style wheels.

In saying that though, let's all hope that the real M3 turns out something like this.

First, the wheel base is far to short. It looks stubby. more like the 3-series compact.

Second, the bonnet bulge is a BMW no-no. Only American and Australian manufacturers do power bulges, for a sleek german car to have one is just stupid.

Third, the wheels are FAR too big! That car would have the turning circle of a cruise liner, and it they would permanently rub the wheel arches.

It's pretty obvious this is not a genuine photo.

I can't believe all the people that actually though this was a rear car or a real shot. You all should stop using your computers and throw them away if you can't tell how bad of a photoshop job that it. Hell, just look at the wheels. The whole picture is a horrible re-make and disgrace to the BMW 3-Series. There is nothing special about it and BMW would never put a hood scoop on one of their cars. Ugly.

And 001 - how could you even allow a post like this with saying it doesn't look like a PS to you? You are just getting worse and worse in your judgement. Pass on the reins and move on.

I am amazed that this many people are that blind. And stupid. It took at least three hours for the first really smart person to make a correct post.

Just look at the front,the bumpers and the wheels.

Standard BMW 3 Coupe can't look like this.
Even M3 will not have this bumper and Wheels as standard from BMW when it will arrive in a years time.

THAT is a BMW worthy of purchase!

Now I'm not a big fan of the 3-series. In particular the odd design of the backlights (looks like a blob design while the rest of the car uses sharp angles and strong lines)...but this looks hot. What happened to the 4-series being the coupe versions of the 3-series? If they're still going with that does this make it an M4? And why have they got CSL bumpers/kit on this thing?

I really like the design of the 3series, but I'd like the 5series front more on this, that would rock, but we still have the 6er Coupé.

What a shame.
