Ah the REAL batmobile.....not that hummer looking tank thing they use now. Love the new batman movies...hate the new batman voice and I hate his wannabe hummer thing too. Batman should drive a sporty car.

Then I wake up and realize it's a movie car i'm commenting on.

I like the Nolan-mobile and it makes perfect sense in the world of the movie where all Batman's gear is re-purposed special military equipment. Everything from his suit to his gadgets were originally designed for some other special use and Wayne simply absorbed it into his bat arsenal.

I mean, where in the world would something that looks like the Burton-mobile serve a real purpose except as a vehicle specially designed for a guy who thinks he's a bat. Plus, the Nolan-mobile would steam role the Burton-mobile as if it were a moth.
