AUTO SPIES EXCLUSIVE: Spies break first detailed pics of the Porsche Cayman-Interior

Here is the first detailed look at the new Porsche Cayman thanks to our friends at Pioneer Porsche in San Diego.

Our favorite feature of the interior besides the hatch area is the cool semi-transparent mesh gauge cover above the tach/speedo

I hope it's just the photos. But the plastic looks cheap, kind of like the bad plastic in some other brands I won't mention, but you know who I mean!

By design, I understand why. No other way with this mid-engined hatchback.

But I can imagine it now, some tech spilling fluids all over the interior. Trust me, every time I take my Porsche in for service they manage to make a mess.

Those pics show coolant and wash/wipe fluid being accessed from under the bonnet, in front of the windscreen wipers.

I think the 911 has a better dashboard design.

The dashboard looks bland and cheap. I love the exterior, but at this price I should get a much better looking interior. I'm really disappointed, I was looking forward to stretching my wallet to buy this car.
