Aston Martin Rapide Production Model Spied Undisguised In Parking Lot
Who needs spy photographers like Hans Lehmann when you have readers like Car Magazine's Simon Gregg that stumbled upon Aston Martin's all-new Rapide sport sedan sitting in a parking lot without a single trace of camouflage! From what we gather, the test car must be one of the final prototype models of the four-door Aston that is scheduled to be officially revealed to the public at the Frankfurt motorshow in mid-September. The undisguised prototype is finished in a menacing black color with a contrasting red interior.

Poised to take on any top-notch sport sedan including the most powerful variants of the Porsche Panamera, the Rapide will be offered with a 6.0-liter V12 engine that churns out 470bhp and 600Nm of torque. Power will be driven to the rear wheels through a six-speed ZF automatic transmission with Aston's Touchtronic control.

The Rapide that will be built by Magna Steyr in Graz, will begin arriving at Aston Martin showrooms around the world in early 2010. As for prices don't expect anything lower than $200k.

I agree but it does come in 2nd place as far as the Lamborghini Estoque is concerned but being that this is a concept I can say yeah this is THE hottest 4 door production coupe right now. The CLS started this which Is a car I still love since it dropped but it looks like Aston Martin finished it with this Halle Berry on wheels very sexy great job Aston

I totally forgot about the Estoque. Yes that my friend is off the hook.

The Rapide has lost some of its luster after Lambo released their Estoque concept.

I have to admit, the Porsche (oh my God Inspirion7 is saying this) Panamera is growing on me. I think the reason is, I just adore the interior so much. I thought the Aston Martin interiors were the best in this prestige league, but the Panamera interior is amazing. Now that being said, the Aston Martin ONE- 77, being that it cost almost $2 mil, is undeniably the best interior design bar none.

looking great for a sedan but agree now it's looking a bit less beautiful than when i first saw the concept pictures(maybe it's unfinished or the scenery) but still 10 times better than ugly panamera.
