Autoweek confirms Camaro for Detroit almost ONE YEAR after the Spies told you it would happen

From Autoweek:

Car News briefs: Camaro concept coming for Detroit

Posted Date: 11/22/05

Camaro coming

Dodge won’t get all the muscle car buzz with its Challenger concept at the Detroit auto show this January. Word is General Motors will show a Camaro concept on a stretched Kappa (Solstice, Sky) chassis. The car is set for production as a 2009 model, sources say.

The other GM concept for Detroit won’t be a Pontiac Firebird, but more likely will be a Buick crossover.

How funny...they're supposed to be an authority but they're almost ONE YEAR behind us on this story!

That's OK, the others like Automobile have been even further out to lunch on this one...

I'm pretty sure "popular hotrodding" did an article about TWO years ago!! (but I'm sure theirs was wrong somehow)

I think AutoSpies is very good very often, and even hits a grand slam now and then, but that's sort of expected of this site at this point. I love the good work, and it stands on its own merits. True, the excessive bragging is a sign of insecurity and is a turn-off. I'll put it this way . . . the really good work speaks for itself and will be recognized for the good work it is. It just simply doesn't need an additional injection of self-praise. I think that's the point here, but that's just my humble opinion.
