Spyshot: Next E-class takes a queue from the Lexus GS?

Here's a look at what the next E might look like...Looks very GS like in the front

I hope that the image above is just a bad PhotoChop. Today's E-class has amongst the most beautiful car "faces" around, combined with stately yet contemporary elegance in over-all form. The car shown here makes the statement "Lexus is kicking our butts, so if we can't beat 'em, we should at least *look* more like them."

If this design comes to pass, it will be a shame for Mercedes. They will be following the Asian's lead in styling.

What is up with the huge ugly looking wheel flares on the new MBs? WHat about the Bangle looking rear trunk on the S-Class? they call THAT the new standard in luxury? I don't think so.

Line me up for an S8 thank you very much!

...This pic has been going around the internet for quite awhile now. It's a photoshop image that was probably just a mix between the Lexus GS and the Merc. It's not a bad photoshop cause it looks pretty good but I doubt that's what the new E will look like. I do think they will 'square' up their headlights a little (that seems to be the current design trend across all motoring manufacturers, strong lines, sharp angles etc.) and hopefully they use styling cues from the CLS cause that is one fine car! IMO, natch.

HAHAHAHA MB after Lexus.

And not Lexus after MB.

I told u guys before that one day every manufacture will copy Lexus.

I said After seeing TOYOTA's success,strengh,power,appeal...and leadership in the AUTOWORLD,

It's not atall surprising that every Manufacture wants to become Toyota or atleat want that much profit, awareness, popularity, sales, demand, technology, budget (Bank balance)...etc

And i think MB has done a smart move and others will follow it soon.

BUT some ignorants will not ACCEPT this.

You are the ignorant one!

You keep saying that Mercedes-Benz is copying Lexus. Where? When?

This picture is not evidence of your claim because it is not a real photo. Mercedes-Benz didn't design the car in question.

I cannot believe your ignorance. Maybe, for once, you can read all the posts in a blog, before arriving at such stupid conclusions.

That looks like the new s-class with the new GS lights. Who ever created this pic probably just wanted to show the world that MB is uncapable of producing their own design. A good example is the new S-class. It shows that MB is completely on the wrong path. They on the same path GM is following. Lexus has distinctly shown that they are capable of producing the best cars. Have look at the new Lexus LF-Sh concept that was unveiled in Tokyo. Daimler Chrysler and BMW and suffering to produce even a single energy efficient while Lexus hav almost the whole lineup in available in hybrid.

The new S-Class interior has nothing to say and the dash is worse than a Civic dash with a completely awful interior
