Bmw X1 caught almost undisguised

Bmw X1 caught almost undisguised
As you may know already, Bmw teased us last week with some photos of the upcoming X1 but now we can show you how the production version of the future car will look like.

The new vehicle was recently caught with a very light camouflage and as you can see from the photos the design is almost the same found on the X1 Concept showcased at last year’s Paris Motor Show. The new Bmw X1 will be built at the Leipzig factory and the German manufacturer hopes to see 7,800 units by the end of the year and more than 47,000 in 2010.

It looks as large as a X3, and it also looks almost the same as the X3 rendering published yesterday. I wonder what's going to happen with the upcomming X3, will it have third row seating and a V8 engine ??
It's becommig a litlle crowded in BMW's "activity" department with the X1 X3 3GT 5GT X5 AND X6's ... What's next, maybe a XZ4GT M ?

Or a TUVWXYZ model. Just joking. This vehicle looks great. This car works for those who don't want the bulk of the other models and true BMW is loading and overlapping models. Some were this will filter out.

The X3 is supposed to be larger in the next generation, but not a huge difference between the X1. I wouldn't go as far as 3rd row seats in the X3 though, they barely fit them in the X5. I also wouldn't expect a V8 in the X3 unless they make an M version. I think the top engine will be the turbo V6 thats in the 335.
From what I've heard it sounds like the X1 is going to be a sportier alternative to the X3...lower and sleeker. While the X3 will have more design relationship to the X5. They will be close enough in size and price that the design will probably end up being the main factor in peoples decision to choose one over the other.

The front bumper is so empty looking. In fact whole car is looking very empty and ugly. Toyota, nissan...etc look good making such type of models. Not BMW, MB.
