Dodge Viper business is now owned by Fiat
The folks over at Inside Line have done some digging and found out the Chrysler has handed over its Viper assets to Fiat, which took control of the Auburn Hills automaker on Wednesday as it emerged from Chap. 11.

Viper now being owned by Fiat means that Scott Devon, supercar entrepreneur who owns Devon MotorWorks, is still looking for a donor car for his company’s new Devon GTX. Scott Devon had made a $5.5 million bid for Viper brand and offered to lease out Chrysler’s Connor Avenue plant where the Viper is assembled.

Even though it'll be considered blasphemy to the American muscle world, I will say I'm a tad bit interested to see what the Ferrari guys will do to it in the future.

The future is questionable for this American icon. What other car can not only go 7:22 seconds around the Nordshleife and STILL have the ability to cook your breakfast on the door sill and fry your eggs?

I mean seriously if they teamed up with George Forman to market their door sills instead of his Grill that would have been Brilliant!
