Rumor: Subaru preparing modified GT300 Legacy B4
There are speculations emerging that Subaru Tecnica International (STI) is coming out with a new racing variant of the most current Legacy for the Japanese local Super GT competition. Further reports are saying that the Legacy STI will be joining the second-tier GT300 class and not the GT500 top level class.

But STI will be pushing their limits here considering that they will be pitted against Porsche GT3s and race-ready Ferraris. A GT300-spec Impreza won a competition last year under Privateer team Cusco due to an AWD system that made the advantage over the rivals.

Good step for Subaru. Subaru will probably achieve what Toyota has failed to do in terms of racing and creating interest in the tuning market. Maybe there will be a production Legacy WRX or Sti variant for the latest Legacy model.
