New LF-A Interior Sneak Peeked In Shakedown Runs
New spy pictures of the Lexus LF-A production version during another shakedown have appeared. For the first time a small part of the interior appears in the pictures.

Not much can be seen except for the steering wheel which appears to be made of carbon fiber and the massive gear peddles behind the steering wheel. The dashboard seems to be covered in Alcantara.

Considering you see only 1/8th of the interior, I think that's pretty harsh.

OOR, What other type of response would you expect from a fanboy? This is typical of Toyota haters.

Unless I'm mistaken, the article mentions it's the production version.

This car is never going to reach production. If you thought the Camaro took a long time then just watch this slow motion crash of PR.

Looks pretty cool, granted, we don't see much.

Carbon and Alcantara are my two best friends.

Wow, this is what almost 10 years of R&D gets you. I'd still take a Ferrari anyday over this (if it ever even reaches production).

By the way, is Agent00R an official Agent? And if he is, was he not formally introduced?

I smell fear already from all the Europhiles...

Riiiiight. Just like how all the "Europhiles" feared the IS-F and we saw how that turned out. Remember 18 months or so ago, all of the Toyota fans were telling us the IS-F was going to dominate the M3. And then it came out and completely didn't dominate. I think the LF-A will follow in these footsteps and end up being an oddball, also ran from Lexus as well.

"sold 80 less of them than the M3 so far"

Where are you getting that stat?

Something about this set of pictures that makes the car look better than ever! It's so SWWEEEEEEEET! ...or sour, if that's its attitude :P

Yeah the ISF is a pretty great car. I think there's been a lot of exaggeration on how "awful" it is by europhiles.

Hmm, m3 and IS-F? Can anyone point me to a single test where the 997 turbo was faster around any track than a GT-R? The answer is simple, it hasn't happened yet. So we're all waiting in anticipation for Porsche's answer to the GT-R. Is the 998 due in 2014 lol? Before bashing the IS-F, consider the fact that the Bratwurst brigade's ultimate machine has had its collective ... handed to it by a Japanese car.

Can you point me to any road test where the IS-F has beaten the M3, or any of it's competitors for that matter.

Eenjoy the superb quality of filming, editing and soundtrack selection of this video. Clearly, it hasn't been made by amateurs.

The test is also done by a professional racing driver:

I'm not going for childish arguments and nitpicking about which car is better, the M3 likely is. But everytime I see somebody saying that the Lexus IS F is "crap", "half-backed" or "a joke", I immedately know that he's just an Internet wanking tool, a nobody who will never afford any of these cars and is desperately trying to relieve himself by writing hatred nonsense and spreading hating. Cause this makes such individuals feel their life is a bit less lost than it in fact is.

- What about the folks who claim superiority without the car even being driven? What would they be called?

The day of rekoning is approaching. If that thing smokes the new Zr1 and GT-R you hater fools are going to look like the fake McCoys(the opposites of real supercar enthusiast). Here's a real world formula hint. Carbon Fiber body + Aluminum chassis + 550hp formula 1 V10 w/9000rpm(who knows how much torque that thing has) + formula 1 sequential direct shift manual 6 or 7 speed trans + and get this approx. 2800lbs car. Now if you idiots know anything about simple laws of physics this thing will be a little rocket. The car were talking here is the Lexus LF-A right.

Oh! I forgot to mention the 0-60 time should be somewhere around 2.9-3.2 1/4 mi time around 136mph(good for around 10 sec.) Yeah and a 8 speed formula 1 direct shift sequential manual tranny. Once again we're talkin the coupe or Lexus LF-A roadster. Don't take my word for it just google Lexus.com and click on LF-A roadster under concept/future cars and there you'll have it. "Who can resist that Candy Apple Red"?
