Schumacher revealed as Top Gear's Stig
Michael Schumacher was unmasked as the BBC car programme Top Gear's mysterious 'The Stig' on tonight’s episode of the long-running show.

The enigmatic white-overalled, gloved and helmeted figure, who for years has anonymously tested cars for the TV show, appeared on the floor of the British programme after breaking its test-track record at the wheel of the Ferrari FXX supercar.

He was the Stig that time around, the Stig is really a collection of mythical drivers. The Stig is more like a machine that has multiple pilots. "It" is not really 1 human but the best humans for the given situation. This is why it is the STIG...and why no one on here will ever be the Stig.

That is cool and a great novelty, but, while each of them are obviously great professionals in their own right, they also drive at different levels which makes that "wall" of track times a moot point.

Not only do you have different weather conditions affecting lap times but now, as revealed, different drivers.

Oh well, entertaining show nevertheless.

I wouldn't say it's completely moot. Whether or not it's different drivers running on the top gear test track or it's different stigs when they go shoot in different countries; one thing is for certain and that is they don't run the car once. They run it a couple of times to test teh potential of the car, then they do a couple of official laptimes, and finally they post the quickest time on their board. So I wouldn't say it's complete bs.

He is too rich to spend time testing anything else other than Ferrari......

Don't be fooled.
