Only in America......

First, we ship jobs overseas, now, ship the money too.

Yeah yeah yeah, they have manu-plants here, fact is they are a foreign company and most of the profits/proceeds go abroad.

The other $6.4billion stayed in north america. Wouldn't it be worse to American's if Nissan went under because they fell behind in their tech and were unable to produce competitive cars when the obama fuel economy legislations kick in?

Hey Bart, there is a difference between investing (lending money) vs actually producing something. One creates jobs and possibly money (production) and the other one creates only money.

It is you who is misleading. Are you trying to say doing business is only about starting it?

Sorry, you pick a single category from the entire rank and trying to make your point. That's just nonsense.

I wonder what the comments here would be if a German car company received a 1B dollar loan? Germany is actually even harder to get into if you look a the rankings.

I think they are good for it. Hopefully the US will make quite a bit of interest off its investment into nissan. If Infiniti would expand their lineup, I think the company will grow tremendously.
