2010 GMC Terrain Priced From $24,995.
GM continue their pricing offensive by offering the Terrain with many standard features that would be premium upgrades on lesser vehicles, more fuel efficient and price under cutting some models of it competitors substantially.
Will this new model set standards or be viewed as a so-ran by GM?

When the 2010 GMC Terrain begins rolling out of General Motors' CAMI assembly facility in Ingersoll, Ontario and into dealerships this September, the new CUV will be clutching a $24,999 sticker price (including a $745 destination charge). For that sum, buyers will get GM's latest direct injected four-cylinder engine, in this case displacing 2.4-liters and producing 182 horsepower and 174 pound-feet of torque.

Perhaps more importantly, this engine manages to deliver an EPA-estimated 32 miles per gallon on the highway, a class-leading figure. Also available will be a 3.0-liter direct injected V6 engine with 264 horsepower and 222 pound-feet of torque, a GPS navigation system and a rear-seat DVD infotainment system. The least expensive all-wheel-drive model will go for $26,745.

I like the car, but the back looks very Buick Rendezous if you ask me.

Buick, GMC and Chevy are the same cars.

Besides shared platforms between Buick, GMC and Chevy, what cars are badge engineered besides the SUV's? Even the Arcadia, Transverse and Enclave, save the engines are different in character. Driving them will show how different. Most that have the biggest complaint have never driving the vehicles they dislike the most.

Does this have the same AWD from Saab that the Cadillac SRX will be sporting soon? Or is it a simplified AWD that cannot vector torque left and right and has cheaper/crappier differentials?

GM once horrid interiors have given away to great design. The Chevy Vette is the last beast in need of a drastic design over, but look at all of the new models.

I'll give them credit for distinctive styling. I agree on the interior, GM seems to have gotten its act together on interior design. No more multiple textures and differing shades of the same color!

GMC replacement for the Envoy is this Terrain, a smaller more efficient model. There is still a market for CUV/SUV's and to say stop making them is ignorant market sense. Manufactures just don't make vehicles to see them sitting on the lots. The on a good note, the 4 cyl. and direct injection V6 engines reduce emissions to sedan levels. So why have an issue against midsize SUV other than personal preference?

Looks a little Audi Q5-ish from the rear, but otherwise a nice destinct design. Kudos to GM, looks athletic.
