Ignorance is running high here, There are many vehicles that are just as in efficient, It just shows that the Chinese are effected by politically correct ignorance too. I am not a huge fan of Hummer, I like the H-1 and the H-3 T alfa is nice too.

It is easy to have a poster child for the those that are users and the Hummer wears a Scarlet Letter. Never hear the same about a Range Rover or Lexus LX.

Speaking of publicity stunts, as the article mentioned, I wonder if this decision is just a "publicity stunt" by the Chinese Government in an attempt to make the communist party look good?

It looks like you won't get any Hummers from the Chinese. I wonder who's going to be selling Hummers now? The question is, will they come with a "happy ending"?

If China made Hummers I wouldn't want it anyways, so China saved Hummer by rejecting it, There are many vehicles just as bad on gas or worse than any Hummer.Just politically correct ignorance here.

You know, just because they buy the brand does not mean that they will move manufacturing plants to china. It just means that the company leadership will be from China, but still have vehicles produced in the US...

Hummer is not dead in the water, provided the right product planning and marketing rescue comes into play. Like many of GM's once successful brands, it is never too late with the right management.

My Brother has a 2009 H-3T alpha with two manual lockers, He was driving the H-3 down the road and went over a pot hole and the side airbags went off! The H-3 has been at the dealer for the last month,, he is going to sue and wants to give the POS back, Chev is of poor quality! I can't wait to hear how they will try to get out of fixing it by saying it is somehow his fault, maybe that is why China doesn't want it.I would never buy a H-2 or H-3.Junk!
