Breaking News: Citroen GT Supercar will be built! Priced at €1.3 million!

There were several talks regarding the production of the GTbyCitroen Concept but today it was officially confirmed: the supercar will be built! According to our sources, the concept received green light from company’s product boss Vincent Besson and will receive a price tag around €1.3 million.

Regarding the production version, this will keep most of the features showed by the concept and this includes: carbon-fiber construction and eccentric interior details. Under the hood, we will have a V8 engine manufactured by GM or Ford and capable to deliver over 500 hp.

I think it should have a little more power. The one in GT5P has around 800-900hp. I think if it's going to have such a steep price tag it should have some awesome power to go with it.

this site is filled with speculation, i don't think this guy who published the story knows what he's talking about. They said the power of 500hp coming from a detroit V8 was for the goodwood festival of speed this weekend, not production. Facts need to be straightened out.
