HERE IS THE MEANING OF THE RED DOT DESIGN AWARD (BELOW) AND AGAIN TELL ME WHY MERCEDES DID NOT GET THIS AWARD FOR THE CLS

(The Red dot design award is a large and coveted[1] international product design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. The aim of the prize is to honor outstanding design quality and trendsetters.)

While I will not claim the CC as a trendsetter, I will say it is a cleaner, more conservative take on the CLS -- check out my review for more information.

yeah but you can say they took an existing design and carbon copied it I still think the CLS is hotter than the Passat CC any day of the week.....But they should NOT have received this award for copying and the mercedes has a cleaner more aggressive look than the CC

"design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany"

that's like North Koreans awarding Kim Jung-Il the "Golfer of the year award" based on him scoring "38 underpar" with multiple "hole-in-ones" thrown in.

The CC is good looking in person. The CLS still looks amazing in white (my opinion) but it is a little played out.

If the cc actually offered any performance I would have considered one. Look at the performance numbers. A V6 Honda Accord will give the cc the business.
