Baloney article. Alfa Romeo will be sold as their own marque in North America. They may use some of the Chrysler platform for larger Alfa Romeos (169) for export overseas, but the whole point of bringing Alfa Romeo to the U,S, is to expand that brand, not to rebadge a Dodge product. "he sees the two brands sharing the same core identity" Like minivans and trucks? Let me guess... an Alfa SUV!?!

Have American car companies already forgotten that stripping a European brand of it's identity is not a good business practice? Let's ask GM and Saab.

Why would Dodge, and Alfa need to share an identity they are night and day in almost every regard. I hope ruining Alfa Romeo wasnt part of Fiats plan they are working on improving their image already this isnt the way to do it.
