Ford Production Cut on 2010 Shelby GT500
Ford has stopped production for the 2010 Shelby GT500. To date, 1700 Shelby GT500s have not been scheduled and or canceled and the Flat Rock plant only has capacity to build a total of 2000 GT500s for the 2010 model year. Dealers who signed the agreement are now only guaranteed 1 Shelby GT500 for this model year.

Its not like its hard to copy a GT500. Get the GT, paint it blue, put a supercharger on it, change some interior bits and paint a white stripe and your done.

Yeah and try to sell it. The what are you going to say when papers and a registration number is requested?

Let's face it, its hard to sell a Mustang, even a really fast one with the Shelby name on it, for $46,000 when a Corvette starts at $49,000.

I know, I know, who cross shops a Mustang and a Corvette, but once you get into that price range, buyers are gonna consider the alternatives.

For resale value it always better to have an origonal. If you want to have fun which I think the 500 would be a kick in the pants just clone one. Also a mustang buyer and corvette buyer are to say the least, two different buyers.
