Official: Hyundai Veloster confirmed for 2011
Hyundai is preparing to produce the Veloster Concept, which was unveiled at the 2007 Los Angeles Auto Show. In an interview with Inside Line, Hyundai Motor America’s CEO John Krafcik revealed details about the upcoming model. The production version will 70-80% resemble the concept car. Most likely, it will also take the name but that the company is still considering other suggestions.

Krafcik said that the car, which will have front wheel drive, aims to attract with its unusual design line rather than its sports car performance. The car will be the first to introduce an innovative body style, which Krafcik says might be doors or a unique roof or something with the hatch.
