Even though the new C-Class doesn't hit for two years, Mercedes to cut C-Class production

DaimlerChrysler AG is cutting back the output of Mercedes-Benz C-Class cars in the main production facility in Sindelfingen from January, Handelsblatt said, citing a company spokesman.

It said the spokesman declined to give any reasons for the decision.

as long as the one in 2 years comes out looking like a baby CLS, we'll never remember this decline in production.

I think this is a smart move from MB.

As they already have big 3 sedans E,CLS,S and also rumours tells that there r more sedans on the way like CLE..etc

I think there is no need for a c class as there are alredy A and B class.MB should make B class a little better or compact saloon type and keep A class as it is (Hatch back).

That will make the line-up more stronger and appealing.

Or else they should make the upcoming C class really good/strong so that it can easily compete mainly with the likes of 3 series,IS,A4...etc.
