McLaren P1 To Be Green And Mean

McLaren designer Jim Dowle made headlines last February when the first details of his P1 sports car were announced. The response was positive, and now the switch has been made to electric power.

The new green P1-E is expected to have a 230-mile range, be able to reach 60 mph in less than three seconds and comes in weighing just 2,326 pounds. The gullwing-door equipped P1 should sell for about $76,000.
