Vw Touareg recalled in the U.S.
14,416 Touareg vehicles in the US are being recalled by Volkswagen after the discovery that a body structure glitch is potentially dangerous to people outside the vehicle. Affected by the recall are Touareg manufactured between 2007 and 2009, according to the notification posted on the official website of the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

Volkswagen gave a statement: “The fastening struts on the roof edge spoiler can crack, causing the spoiler to become loose and possibly detach from the vehicle without warning, even though initially the spoiler may feel secure.”
