Yeah... what's the point of a car if it's so damn slow?!

Mtchell,

There's a lot of things you just "don't get".
Automobile industry is one of them.

I am convinced the reader base here has devolved to high school boys who just don't understand that there is more to a car than simply speed. Have you ever driven a car, let alone an Audi? You just can't compare a tin can with a powerful engine to a true sports sedan You stick with your Evo or WRX and I'll keep my A4's.

The standard A4 is slow enough, let alone this version. On a positive note, the mpg is impressive.

Have you driven the 2.0TFSI? Slow? Maybe you have your priorities mixed up.

At least bring the regular 2.0TDI here in the A4/A5, I hear it's coming...

Its a better quality car with impressive MPG. People are always stressing over if a car is slow or fast. For the everyday driver, we barely ever get to 60 to 80 MPH during the day. I go from my house to work and never get over 45MPH. So it does not bother me if I am driving a better quality car that gets to 60 in 9 seconds. WHoopie DOO. I live in the city which means by the time I hit 3rd gear I am stopping at a redlight. My everyday car is a 2008 Jeep Commander with HO V8. I can haul ass in this car, but I get 14/15 in the city and 18/20 on the HWY. Getting 60mpg would just blow my mind. I will not buy a Prius / Insight because they are large plastic pieces of shit that I feel will kill me in a collision.

Doesn't Tata Nano get 51.7mpg? why not save thousands and get into one of those?

What about a bicycle, it get 1million mpg or more, 0-60 should be similar to this Audi.
