lure
(lures, luring, lured) 1.
To lure someone means to trick them into a particular place or to trick them into doing something that they should not do.

Lexus, passionately luring customers

Funny BMW never seems to resolve these recurring problems (air bags, fuels pumps, spun bearings, subframe tears, window regulators failure, noisy wastegates, turbo lag, AC blowing hot air etc...) they continue on and on and on....

Funny Lexus never seems to resolve these recurring problems (understeer, weak breaks, low-end suspension triangulation, gold crests option kits, gold crests option kits that are fading, rust in gas lines, lag (not turbo-lag, just lag)low-end original tires, rear overhangs, loose chassis, bad designs, 65/35 weight distribution, uncommunicative yet unresponding steering, obvious rebadging, overpricing)

Why is it that when a German car company has a recall, all the fanboys point to Toyota to divert the negative attention? Like trashing another company will make their beloved marque any better?

Yes, understood, but when there's a story of Toyota having a problem, most of the time haters just laugh and the Toyota supporters don't go around posting problems about other car manufacturers.

All cars have recalls the problem with BMW is they don't test as much as the Japs, and the western philosophy of manufacturing is not as sharp as Toyota's Kaizen with Just in Time delivery where the workers are empowered to stop the assembly line. The German's wouldn't like that, they are not individuals working on the cars but soldiers taking orders from their "invincible German engineering team"...JaWohl!!
