Breaking: Jaguar XJ Coupe- In The Pipeline
As if the release of the all-new Jaguar XJ wasn’t exciting enough, we’ve been blown away by news from Jaguar’s Director of Design Ian Callum that his team have already started sketching an XJC version.

The original Jaguar XJC was a two-door Coupe built between 1975-1978 and was based on the short wheelbase version of the Series Two Jaguar XJ. Though the car sold in pretty limited numbers, today, the car’s elegant proportions, pillarless door frames and vinyl roof have acquired cult status.

I agree B7F. Iam glad also that Jag moved on to new design. THe back end of the XJ was alittle akward to me but it fits so well on the coupe. If The Sedan does well I'm sure Jaguar will release the coupe.

The coupe looks much better than the Sedan version of the XJ. The backend flows more with the lines on the coupe. Hopefully, they will move forward and build this car.

Who woke the cat up? Jaq finally sheds the old look and emerges as a super sleek and just dam sexy. It reminds me of that tv show The SWAN. They take an ugly lady and give her surgery, self esteem, makeup tips, a new grill "smile", and increase the headlights "boobs", mainly a complete overhaul and produce this HOT SEXY WOMAN that no one believes is them.

design is working much better in coupe form. In sedan, same design looks awkward from most angles.

If Jaguar could produce a coupe similar to this artist's rendition, it would be a show stopper.

Makes the Bentley Continental GT look low-brow.

Looks like a Bentley Continental and Brooklands smashed together. Don't see all the hype surrounding the sedan or this pure speculation. I guess considering where Jaguar was just a few years ago, people will swoon over whatever they can get.

I'm a Merc fan more than anything. But I would take this XJ Coupe because it's drop dead gorgeous and it's a fresh design. The CL or (S-Class Coupe) has been around for a few years now but even that looks good beside a Bentley Continental GT. The XJC will too. Full size coupes with optimal level of luxury, all 3 different in price but that's not the point.
