TRIVIA: Can You Guess Who I Am?

TRIVIA: Can You Guess Who I Am?
Sometimes there are some opportunities to pass up and this is one of them.  Sent VIA e-mail from 001, I received an interesting bit of trivia that certainly will intrigue just about anyone.

So, here's the question:

Earlier in my career while at BMW in Germany, I hired the U.S. agency that devised the slogan "The Ultimate Driving Machine."  Who am I?

While I cannot guarantee any treats or prizes to the person who answers correctly, I can guarantee that you will have some bragging rights on AutoSpies and a lot more clout when you post.

Answer away!

More important than Lutz hiring Martin Puris (who came up with the slogan)is that BMW has not only given up on the slogan, but has no right to claim the slogan anymore. The "ultimate driving machine" is gone in more ways than one

Slowly it seems that Lexus and BMW are swapping roles... BMW with the X6 and X1 and Lexus with the IS-F and soon to be LF-A (well hopefully) I personally don't mind what they do as long as they keep pushing each other to improve.
