Land Rover Defender expands its model range
Australians will have an expanded Land Rover Defender model range to choose from. To meet the needs of both off-road users and heavy duty payload seekers, the Land Rover Defender will include five new 110 wheelbase models and three new 130 wheelbase versions.

The new 110 wheelbase versions include the Crew Cab Pick Up, Hard Top, Single Cab Chassis and Single Cab HCPU (High Capacity Pick Up) while the new 130 wheelbase includes the Single Cab Chassis and the Crew Cab HCPU (High Capacity Pick Up).

Its too bad that these tanks won't reach U.S Soil due to the safety and emission standards.

darnit, I would seriously love to be able to run down to the LR dealer and plop $35-40K down on a new one of these. It's time to revise this model and re-introduce it to the US!

Would also be sweet watching all these price gougers (ahem, Copley Motorcars) who stick people for $60K for a 1993 D110 lose their cash cow.
