Leaked: 2010 Acura RDX
Check out the leaked photos of the upcoming 2010 Acura RDX. It’s easy to see that there have been changes to the exteriors. The shield grille is common to the other cars in the Acura lineup but it has reshaped fog lamps and air intakes along with its bottle-opener grille, which has also been applied to the TSX, TL and RL sedans. Since it was launched in 2008, the RDX had only one version (all-wheel drive model) but now, it is also available in the more fuel-efficient front-drive version.

This may be the first implementation of this new grill that makes the front look better than the last one. Always thought the RDX front was too busy. This looks cleaner.

This new one looks good. People shouldn't judge so much about the exterior of Acuras, it's what you get as a whole package that matters. You get the latest tech, toys, and luxury in addition to one of the best build qualities out there, and of course best engines.

Regardless of peoples opinion of the grill...Acura's new designs have A LOT of road presence, which I think is a achievement all in itself. This does not apply to recent MMCs.

BMW X3 is way overpriced IMO. What does the X3 offer that's worth the 35k+ they ask compared to the Q5/XC60/RX???

X3 has barely any trunk space, back seat is cramped, so is the front and to top it off, it's based at $38k MSRP. RIP-OFF!!!

and please don't mention a 'sport oriented' X-over, because the X3 is hardly sport oriented or drive's anythign close to sport-ish.

I'd even consider the SRX, even though it's a GM, as it still offers so much for the $$$.

Only thing going for the X3 is the lease deals with free maintenance...that you can't beat.

so for a RWD layout, you sacrifice the basic necessities in cargo space and leg room??

this is where innovation is supposed to take contol under a corp like BMW. they can improve the design so the cargo, cramped leg room and drivetrain issues are all coherent together.

sacrificing a RWD drivetrain for the comfort and necessity of cargo room doesn't float for me, I don't accept excuses like that because that's all it is, another excuse.

are they afraid of eating away at big brother X5's sales by making the X3 somewhat bigger?

r15mohd - I don't think BMW sells many cars to buyers making cold hard calculated decisions based on the sort of parameters you mentioned. That's not a put down on BMW buyers, it's just an observation. BMW is more of a passion brand than Acura. BMW can get away with it. Acura cannot.
