Kia’s hybrid plans revealed!
Within the next three years, Kia’s new hybrid technology will be seen in the cars to be launched in the UK, Europe and U.S.A. To decrease its CO2 output, Kia is incorporating the hybrid system in many of its models. In Korea, it launched its first hybrid, a Forte, which shares a platform with the Kia Cee’d.

According to Autocar’s source from Kia, it is likely that the first Kia hybrid in Europe will be based on the Cee’d. The Kia hybrid system fits in all the cars in its range that have a 1.6-litre petrol or 1.6-litre diesel engine, which at present is the Cee’d, Pro Cee’d, Cee’d SW and Soul. Autocar’s source said however that it might not feature in the Soul.

I drove the i20 in Asia and it is a very good car (despite me being partial towards Euro and Jap cars.
It is a decent ride with great space, rear AC vents, fridge in glovebox, steering remote control etc.
Any idea if the i30 replaces the accent or there will be an i20 sedan version. Also, where will the Elantra fit into all this and what about the i40 which is almost a Sonata?
