Ferrari To Offer Roadside Assist In Europe -- What About US?

Maranello, 20th July 2009 – Ferrari is pleased to announce the launch of the new “With You” roadside assistance service to be provided free of charge to owners of all Prancing Horse cars built since 1947 and not covered by either existing factory or POWER warranties.

The only reason why you would never buy a Ferrari is because you will NEVER be able to afford it.

How hard is it to offer it in America?
Is the government preventing them? ...or are they just plain lazy?
With all the technologies that Ferraris have these days that their high price speak of, I'd be pissed if I didn't have a simple roadside assistance.
Those Europeans always thinking they're better than us. :)

Most of Italian cars are unreliable...buy still more atractive than any toyota... And honestly even with all those glitches....I prefer European Cars or Cadillacs. ....toyota...never mind..

Ferrari's are so unreliable. I mean you see them broken down on the side of the road everyday. Not!

As for the LF-A madness? Can you wait until the car is released before you claim superiority? Remember the IS-F? The car that doesn't offer the driving dynamics of a BMW M3. And now all of a sudden Lexus is supposed to create a Ferrari killer? LOL!!! Keep Dreaming.

I know I may sound like Jeremy Clarkson but Ferrari's are made with passion, as with all Italian cars. So what if they are unreliable, but the driving experience they will give you will be priceless. They have soul.

So what if it breaks down? I'm sorry, but if you can afford a Ferrari, you can probably afford to replace parts of it every now and then.

And I think that this article begs a pretty stupid question. The Ferrari market in America may be large compared to other Ferrari markets, but the market in the US is nowhere near as large as in Europe. And in this economic crisis, I don't know why Ferrari would even bother.
