Amodelro are you an idiot? If you are going to talk about how much of a loss Toyota has had in the U.S. why on earth would you put a picture of the iconic Prius Hybrid on here? Trust me, Toyota is not as bad off as they may lead you to believe.

Ew
was the Prius designed by a group of blind designers ?

Toyota has always been pursuing GM, always taking GM's spots, doing exactly what GM was doing, so bankruptcy is near.

Wow that is a pretty ignorant comment. Toyota doesn't deal with the UAW or CAW but does deal with unions in Japan and likely in European factories. As for the complacency how many flawed launches have they had within the last few years? Tundra-tailgate failures, camshafts. ES350 accelerators getting stuck. FJ cruiser-bent frames.

More than Ford has had. Most of Ford's recent recalls have been for mid to late 90s models, which are WELL beyond the warranty period but Ford is still taking care of the customer.

Too dependent on the U.S. market. Too dependent on truck sales. No mystery here. They will no doubt adjust and get their Balance Sheet back in line quickly. This fall may be a time to by a Toyo or Lexus if you are so inclined. Probably get good deals on leftovers like MB is doing. Anyone want an 09 MB E350? They're offering $10,000 dealer incentive on them through July 31!!! Wow! Wish I was in the market for a new car this month.
