Spyshot: Next Mercedes CL?

Spy photographers recently caught the next-generation Mercedes-Benz CL-Class with moderate camouflage in testing. The new photos, available on German automotive site AutoWereld, provide a good look at the new CL from all angles. The 2007 CL has been photographed before, but these images are far more revealing that past shots.

It looks like a Pontiac. It has hints of Honda as well.

I can also make out Volvo, mazda and BMW influences.

When will Mercedes-Benz bring out their own designs, instead of copying everyone elses?

And once again MB desides to design another model to look EXACTLY LIKE THE REST OF THEIR LINE UP. Put some originality into your design.

They screwed themselves with the design of the new S-Class (BMW anyone?), and from there it's going to flow into the rest of their line up. I'm sorry. MB still might be a nice car and yea the have problems and yea maybe they don't. But please come up with your own designs.

I cannot understand those who make out design lines by Honda or Mazda.

Those automobil producers strives to achieve such an elegant and graceful design Mercedes owns.

In my opinion design chief Peter Pfeiffer is one of the most talented in his sphere.

So who wants to challenge this design? American automobil builders?

I don't think they could even be half that good.
