Upcoming Spyker D8 SSUV will carry the V8 engine from Cadillac CTS-V

For those who don’t know, Spyker is preparing a Porsche Cayenne competitor dubbed the D8 SSUV (Sport SUV). Today we found out that the upcoming vehicle from the Dutch manufacturer will use the 6.2-liter V8 engine found also on the Cadillac CTS-V to power the spectacular SUV. It appears that the vehicle will carry over 564 hp so expect an impressive vehicle capable to leave the Porsche Cayenne Turbo S in the dust!

RX while selling in high volume for Lexus is nothing compared to the X5, ML, or Porsche Cayenne. The future X5 M, Cayenne Turbo and ML63 will run laps around the RX while it is still putting away up the roads to Lake Tahoe. Then again it would be putting along because primarily females drive the RX.

I dig Spyker, but this looks like a Spyker sedan Donk. Then again, so does the BMW X6. I guess they figure this is less risky because there is more competition in the ultraluxury sedan market.
