Hot! 2007 Toyota Camry photos

The team over at AutoBlog and Treehugger are showing the embargoed photos of the 2007 Toyota Camry taken by someone obviously invited to the events Toyota has been holding for the press.

What's exciting about THAT! Only Consumer Reports could sell THAT thing. And it probably will . . . to all the clpboard buyers who do what they are told.

Probably reliable, but truly disappointing appearance.

Looks great,as the case with every toyo/lex.

And rhino that feeling only comes after seeing a Toyo/lex,but sorry u or any can't help it.

It looks like u r not a fan of Toyota but feel the appeal and catchness of Toyota/Lexus.

Other than the front and rear grille and light treatments, this looks like the same friggin car.

The side profile, bumpers, wheels all look the same.

The interior (Typical Toyota)

However... notice the part bins sharing going on with Lexus is advancing.

The door panels have the same L-finesse curve as on the GS and the entire middle console is laid out just as a GS.

All in all, I'd still buy an Accord over this.

Why did Toyota hype this car like it was going to be radically changed?

Only to produce a smaller Avalon (which IMO is Ugly)

Why would you care if your lexus had the same doro pulls as a camry? Or the same turn signal lever as a corolla? These parts are insignificant. If toyota didnt exist would you still complain about the "parts bin" items?

If Lexus still gived you more for your money and a more reliable product I do not see the problem with efficiency.

I'm sure it's a quality car, there is just nothing exciting about it, in the least. When I see that a picture a grandpa driving it. Once again, I'm sure it's a reliable machine with great features, but I couldn't even begin to get excited about something that bland.
