Is Your Current Car Revealing Your Masculine Or Feminine Side?

Is Your Current Car Revealing Your Masculine Or Feminine Side?
Women have long mocked the male obsession with fast cars, querying how a machine can make you feel more of a man.

Now scientists have found proof that sports cars really can make men feel more macho.

Going for a spin in a million-rand Porsche sends testosterone soaring, a study found, but driving a clapped-out Toyota had the opposite effect.

The Canadian researchers said it seems that men, like peacocks fanning their tails, believe the conspicuous displays are the best way to grab a female's attention.

This study is funny, if a bit innate. Why does it always seem that the people that drive the testosterone-filled cars are the people that need it the most?

What I meant to say is that it is innate for some men to act this way as the researchers themselves said:

"it seems that men, like peacocks fanning their tails, believe the conspicuous displays are the best way to grab a female's attention."

But "inane" works too but has a different meaning than what I wanted to communicate.

You are correct, I added a new link, the old one was sporadic. Try that one.

It's weird that they studied this case without thinking for the car enthusiasts that just like speed who don't even give a rats A** about being macho. People who own Porsche loves driving not necessarily to feel macho. I'm sure those who drive brands like Porsche, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Aston, and other super car/hyper car status types feel good about themselves but I disagree it makes them ALL feel macho.

While my R8 V8 isn't hyper car royalty like the SLR 722, Pagani Zonda F, and the likes I feel it hits the spot just right for me. I don't feel anymore macho than when I drive my Lexus or Merc so as a Canadian myself I am ashamed they even bothered with such a study.

However, I agree that it gets the females attentions that's a no brainer. But it's not the car that makes you look good. It's how you look in the car.

When you are a macho, you'll drive what you like, and that won't matter for you cause youy are so sure on what you are, that what other people think, do not count.

But I like to have fun, on a fast roller coaster, an acrobatic plane or a quick car. Don't always care so much how they look though... atom, M5, Ferrari... all fun! But then again sometimes you want a nice looking car, just like you want to wear a shirt without holes in it to a nice restaurant... even though the shirt with holes may be more comfortable.
