Fritz Henderson confirms Cadillac's BMW 3-Series competitor
Seems like 25 is General Motors new lucky number. After announcing that the Chevrolet Volt will average 25 kilowatt hours per 100 miles in city driving (230 mpg), GM also confirmed that it plans to launch 25 new models by the end of 2011. CEO Fritz Henderson confirmed that a group of consumers and select media were shown plans for what GM has in the works through 2011 at GM’s Design Center and Milford Proving Ground yesterday.

Chevrolet is expected to introduce 10 new models including the Volt; Buick and GMC are expected to add 10 new entries including the recently previewed plug-in hybrid compact crossover for 2011; and Cadillac is going to introduce 5 new models through 2011.
