German chancellor says that Magna must buy Opel
Throwing her full support to Magna International’s bid for Opel/Vauxhall, German chancellor Angela Merkel said that if necessary, she will intervene personally to make it win the deal. In an interview on RTL television, Merkel said that the German government is in constant talks with Magna. Rival RHJ International is preferred by General Motors due to a proposal that’s been described as easier to implement and will not have any issues with intellectual property rights.

Sounds good! Hopefully if Magna gets Opel, they bring them to Canada. Thy look like nice cars.
