Report: Bugatti to show four-door concept next month

We’ve been seeing leaked teaser shots of what has become to be known as the Bugatti Bordeaux - the company’s next model. According to Bugatti’s boss Dr. Franz-Josef Pfaegen, the Bordeaux is just one of the three proposals for the next model that will be unveiled in September.

AutoCar says that the concept will hint at a future four-door Bugatti. Pfaegen killed rumors that the production Bugatti sedan will be based on the newly unveiled Bugatti Mulsanne, which was launched at Pebble Beach this past weekend.

I think the pic above is a modified stock photo of the 1999 Bugatti EB218 concept; and not official.

I wonder if Bugatti is planning to make something like the 1999 Bugatti EB 18/3 Chiron concept. They indicated that they want to expand the brand, and maybe a less expensive model with a lower-power engine may be a way to keep interest up.

...but now that Porsche is officially within the listing of VW brands, I can imagine a Panamara-based Bugatti 4-door with all kinds of modifications to the Porsche uber-luxury sedan to bring it up to ultra-luxury sedan standards.

Bugatti is now jumping in the 4 door band wagon along with Porsche and Lambo...I think the 8 tail pipes is a bit too much.
