Very big improvement over the current kiddy car. Actually if you were to put a beak on the front it almost looks Acura-esque.

I can agree with Toyota and Honda slumping. To me nothing exciting has come from their stables in awhile. Toyota let the Celica drop off, the Solara never got the performance it needed. The Scion brand with the tC needs a big redesign with a performance option (think Si). The entire lineup of Toyota's offers more TRD performance for their trucks/SUVs than their cars. Matrix XRS used to be a leader with 180hp VVTL-i, now it has a 2.4L 4cyl. with a whopping 184hp. That falls way way behind the Mazdaspeed 3 and Subaru WRX.

I have an 05 Matrix XR AWD and think its a better car than the new designed Matrix. I get all the same items in my car and it doesn't look like it's wearing a flowy dress as most Toyota's look nowadays.
