As with Saturn, this deal is a trojan horse. The chinese are buying a ready distribution network with a new/modern set of dealer facilities, for a song. Through this a surge of Chinese product will flow, most having very little resemblence to Hummers of old and instead directly competing with Chevy et al. GM would do better to just shut it down and slow the onslaught of a new set of low cost competitors across the US market.
